I qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and specialise in advising small and medium size businesses on various employment law issues; making sure clients are legally compliant with complex employment legislation. I advise and assist clients on various procedures such as, restructuring and redundancy, TUPE transfers, contractual variations, aspects of recruitment and dismissal, managing performance and disciplinary issues, incapacity and capability procedures, employment disputes, determining employment status and discrimination.
Prior to joining Markel Law in 2007, I worked in New York , managing a boutique law firm. I understand the economic challenges and decisions faced by businesses on a daily basis, and I try assist clients in a pragmatic way to find the best solutions.
